Musician/Singer/Songwriter Piano player and Keyboard player, Ronnie has worked professionally in the music business for over 20 years. His musical background includes, jazz, blues pop and rock and in the 1980’s he played as a freelance musician/session player with many pop, rock, reggae and rhythm & blues bands throughout the UK and Europe.
During the 1990’s he was based in London and played with his own band around the London music circuit. In 1995/6 Ronnie worked with some of the best blues and country musicians resulting in the writing and recording of an album entitled ‘One Way Ticket’ comprising 14 songs all written by Ronnie. The CD was released on the Blue Rascal Music record label and received excellent reviews. Several songs from the album received air-play by the BBC and independent radio stations.
At the end of 1999 Ronnie worked with Bryan Ferry and recorded a video for Channel 4 as part of the ‘Songs Of The Millenium’ celebrations. Ronnie performs as a freelance musician, vocalist and songwriter and in addition to playing with his own band is currently writing and recording a new album due for release soon.
Ronnie is member of the PRS, MCPS, PPL, Musicians Union and the British Academy of Songwriters and Composers.
